In a cooperative like ours, members are invested in the current and future success of the business.

Of course, with 42 members – all with diverse needs, challenges and opportunities – it is not always easy to find simple solutions. However, our track record shows, when a problem is identified by the membership, everyone works together to solve it. Recently we have updated rate design, stabilized rates, diversified our generation mix by including more renewable resources, and increased the amount of patronage capital returned to members.

We have worked collaboratively for more than 65 years to find solutions to challenges and identify mutually-beneficial outcomes. By listening, learning and working together, we will continue to find the best solutions for Tri-State members and the more than 1.3 million rural, urban, agricultural, commercial, industrial, and residential consumers they serve.

With the diversity of our members and an ever changing environment, we will continually face new challenges, but by standing together we’re confident we’ll find solutions to those issues, too.
