Tri-State’s Facility Rating Methodology and Reliability Criteria are documented in the Engineering Standards Bulletin and can be found on OASIS.
Tri-State’s Transmission Plan, which is comprised of individual projects, provides for an effective utilization of the transmission system on a best-cost basis using the "single-entity concept," which takes into consideration the total costs of Tri-State, the Member, and other affected utilities.
Tri-State is an active participant in regional transmission planning with other area utilities, including the Colorado Coordinated Planning Group and WestConnect.
