2024 Requests for Proposals

Pursuant to Tri-State’s 2023 Electric Resource Plan (ERP) filed with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, three Requests for Proposals were released on Friday, September 13, 2024. In accordance with our mission to provide our member systems a reliable, affordable, and responsible supply of electricity, Tri-State is requesting proposals for the following resources:

  • Renewables, both wind and solar, or renewables paired with battery storage - Renewable RFP
  • Standalone short-term or long-term battery storage resources - Storage RFP
  • Natural gas-fired generation or geothermal resources - Dispatchable RFP
